How to Create Your Unique and Personal MindPT Session
Welcome to the MindPT customization help page!
Here is where you learn how to create your own MindPT Personal Power Sessions to match your unique goals. If you've purchased one or more MindPT Expert Sessions, this guide also shows you how to customize any video in your library.
Customizing your sessions gives you faster results by creating an emotional engagment with what you're watching. You can customize your videos with photos, power statements and your name so that the presentation "speaks" to you and your needs.

- Play the demo MindPT Session and set the run time to 10 minutes.
- Read the Top Tips page and learn pro tips on how to optimize your MindPT experience. Do this before you move onto the next step.
- Click the New Vision Wizard.
- Enter your name as you wish to see it in your Session and click next. Tip: use the name you most like to be called.
- Choose the categories you wish to include in your MindPT Session by clicking the box next to the category name (images and power statements will be automatically included from our library according to the categories you choose).
- Optional: Add your own personal positive statements by typing them into the box above “Create text.” Tip: Read the Top Tips page to learn how to create affirmations that really work!
- Optional: Add your own images by uploading any jpeg or gif image sized less than 2MB.
- Click browse, choose, confirm size is less than 2 MB, then upload.
- When finished with adding images, press "SAVE"
- While watching the demo, discover how to use the video player controls with the following functions:
- Speed: click the turtle to slow down and the rabbit to speed up to change the amount of time for each image
- View: expand the imagery on your computer from small to large by clicking this icon
- Start and pause the video using the icons –
- Loop - - with one click, the video will keep replaying
- Move your mouse to see the controls again after they disappear
- Watch your newly created Session.
- You can create new Sessions whenever you desire by clicking: "Create a new MindPT Session" and then follow the process again.
- You can also modify the name and images of any previously made Session by clicking: "Modify"
- Be sure to assign a unique name to each of the MindPT Sessions you create so you can distinguish them!
The MindPT Video Display
Before you begin creating your own MindPT Session take a few minutes and watch the demo video we have prepared for you. This will help get you familiar with the video player, as well as energize you to begin the process of making your own custom MindPT Sessions.
From the main screen, make sure that “Default” is selected from the “Custom Vision” drop-down menu. The next step is to change the "Run Time" to reflect your desired MindPT Session length. We recommend 10 minutes. You can change the run time to fit your schedule, making it longer or shorter - whatever you need. You'll experience the full MindPT Session regardless of the time you choose. Once you've set the time to 10 minutes, click the “Play” button.
You’ll be taken to the MindPT video player, and the Default (demo) video will begin playing.
Hover your computer mouse over the Session. You’ll notice that the controls panel appears just below the video screen. Familiarize yourself with how the MindPT video player works. Note that the “Speed” is initially set to 5. This is the standard setting for all playback.
If you want to adjust the speed so that your Session plays slower or faster, click the turtle (slower) or the rabbit (faster). You can adjust the speed settings from 1 all the way to 10.
Note that each time you adjust the speed the “Remaining” indicator on the player will automatically adjust to reflect the amount of time remaining for the entire Session to finish playing. You can adjust the playback speed at any time – even while your Session is playing.
Click the “Pause” button to temporarily stop playback at any time. To resume, click the “Play” button (activated when the video is paused).
Control the volume of your Session by using the volume adjustment button (the second button from the left) at any time.
The button on the far right side of your player creates a full-screen mode, enlarging the presentation to fill your entire screen. While in full-screen mode, hover your mouse over the video and the control tab will appear; can click the full-screen button again for standard size.
Clicking the “Loop” button will cause your video to replay as soon as it’s done, and to continue doing so for as long as the “Loop” button remains highlighted.
When your Session is done playing (assuming the “Loop” feature is not activated), you’ll be returned to the main custom MindPT page. If you want to return to the main page before your Session is done playing, simply click the “Back” button on the left side of the player controls.
Don’t click the “Back” button in your web browser – you might not be taken to the proper page.
Note: The controls will disappear after a few seconds so you can enjoy the full experience of MinPT without distraction. To make the controls reappear so you can control the Session, simply move your computer mouse over the player and the control panel will appear.
Creating Your First MindPT Video
Once you’ve watched the default MindPT Session and read the "Top Tips" page, it’s time to create your personal MindPT experience. You now have the ability to create a Session that will imprint positive and empowering ideas directly into your other-than-conscious mind, helping you to change your automatic self-talk and perceptions so that they work for you instead of against you. Whether you want to create financial abundance, professional success, great experiences, a new relationship, or to achieve peak performance in any discipline, this step walks you through how to create the most effective MindPT Session for your unique needs.
Step #1 New Vision Wizard
We’ve created a handy “Wizard” tool which walks you through the process. Once you’re logged in, click on the button labeled “New Vision Wizard.”
Step #2 Type Your Name
The next step is to type your name as you’d like it to appear in your MindPT Session. You can always modify or change this later. You can also type a different name each time you create a new MindPT Session.
PRO TIP: use the name you most like to be called by other people and how you like to refer to yourself!
Step #3 Add Your Categories
Click on “Next” once you’ve typed the name you wish to use and you’ll be taken to a page with hundreds of categories, each with a number of images associated with that category (that's the number next to the name of the category). Simply click the box next to a category you're interested in. Don't hold back! You can make your videos as grand as you like! Include anything you want to experience in life; or, if you prefer, you can create several smaller targeted MindPT Sessions that address specific needs.
NOTE: We are constantly curating NEW images every day... So you you can expect an increase of images within each category over time. To have these new images show up in your Session(s), please remember to let the Session run all the way through periodically, so that every image has a chance to refresh and load.
As you look over this page you’ll see categories and sub-categories to choose from. Beside each category or sub-category you’ll see the number of images in that category. Let’s use “Abundance” as an example.
Once your'e done choosing categories, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Next.”
Step #4 Personalize your MindPT Session with Images and Personalized Messages
You can create your own slides to add to your MindPT Session. This is a one of a kind personalization option unique to MindPT. Note: You can skip this step if you wish to view your newly created MindPT video right away. You can come back to this step and customize it at any time, at your convenience.
We strongly encourage you to upgrade your videos as your needs and goals change over time!
Create a Message
Create your own empowering message. In this space you can add a positive statement that reflects what is important to you. Choose statements that mean something to you personally. For help on getting the most out of your positive statements, please check out Top Tips Tip #8, "How to write affirmations that work." Simply type your positive statement into the space provided and click “Create Text.”
Upload Your Own Photos
You can now upload your own photos and add them to your MindPT Session. Click on “Browse” and choose from images stored on your computer. Please note, images must be smaller than 2MB.
For best results, choose photos of yourself, memorable life experiences when you felt "on top of the world" and images that represent what you want to create or experience.
Once you’ve chosen a photo, click on “Open” in the pop up window and then click on “Upload” to add it to your Session. You’ll see the file name for your image. Once you’ve uploaded it, you’ll be able to see your image in the space below.
You can continue to upload more images and positive statements. When you’re finished, click “next” at the bottom of the page under your new images.
Step #5 Name Your Session
The next step is to name your MindPT Session. It’s important to give your Session a name that means something to you and will help identify your Session from the other items in your library.
You may eventually create dozens of videos, so you want them to be easily identifiable. For example, because this vision was specifically designed to attract abundance we’ve simply named it “Abundance.”
Step #6 Watch Your New MindPT Video
Click on “Done” and you’ll be taken to a page where you can watch your new vision. You can watch your new MindPT Session by clicking “Watch My Video Now.” You'll see that you have an option to have your own images and affirmations either placed randomly throughout the presentation or clustered. Choose whichever method appeals to you most. Notice how your affirmations and new images show up in the MindPT Session you just created.
It's important that you choose Speed 3 or less when you play a new Session for the first time. Slower speeds encourage emotional engagement (as you savor the richness of the images) while faster speeds effectively create new automatic thought patterns. We recommend that you watch your Session on Speed 2 or 3 for at least the first couple of days. That allows you the necessary time to make sure the images engage you emotionally and to make any changes you want to your personalized affirmations or images.
Once you're comfortable with the presentation, you can begin speeding it up to a pace that is comfortable for you. Every day may be different so don't feel that you must watch your Session at any particular speed. Do what feels good and right!
Customizing Your MindPT Session
Once you’ve created a MindPT Session, modifying it is quick and easy. You can modify or customize your video to meet changing needs, ?
Let’s use the Abundance Session as an example.
Maybe you come across a photo or an image that you’d like to add to your Abundance Session, you can add it at your convenience. The same is true for messages. You can add a message to any of your MindPT Sessions at any time. You can also add more categories or sub-categories to your Session.
For example, perhaps in addition to abundance you want to add “Wealth” and “Toys.” You can do that. You can also remove categories from your Session if they are no longer relevant to you (when you have achieved something, you can update your Sessions to reflect your new goals!).
Let’s start at the beginning and go step by step through the “Customize” process.
Step #1 Login and Click On “Customize.”
You’ll be immediately taken to a customization menu. As you did with the first MindPT Personal Power Session you created, you can type your name in as you want it to appear. If you change anything with your name, be sure to click “Save” to ensure your name change is saved.
Step #2 Click on Modify
The next step is to choose the video you wish to modify from your MindPT Sessions list. Simply click on “Modify,” next to the video you want to change.
You’ll now see that you have a few options. You can:
Rename your video. For example if you’re adding “wealth” and “toys” to your video you may want to rename this video Abundance, Wealth & Toys or another name that is meaningful to you.
We’ve added “Wealth” and “Toys” so you can see how easy modification is. You’ll notice in the screenshot below that the additional boxes are checked and the number of images has increased to 2405. The standard time for this new MindPT Session is 20 minutes.
Click on “Save.”
Step #3 Choose Specific Personal Images for Specific Videos
Chances are you have an abundance of personal images you'd like to add to your video library but you don't want ALL of those images in EVERY video. For example, you wouldn't want a picture of you with your parents in your "Soulmate" or "Romance" video. But you might want it in your "Happiness" video. You can choose to add some images to each video. To change which images appear in specific videos the first step is to log in, visit the MindPT page and click on the "Customize" button.
Choose The Video You Want to Modify
Choose a video you wish to modify and click on the modify option next to the name of your Session.
Select Personal Images from Your Library
Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can see your library of images. You can select all or remove all. Check the images you want to include in your video and click “Save.” As you can see in the image below the three images with family members have been selected to add to the "Gratitude" video selected in Step Three.
Watch Your New Modified Video
You’ll now be returned to the main customization page. You’ll notice that if you changed the name of your video, it is now listed under that new name. You can now click “Watch Now,” to enjoy your new MindPT Personal Power Session. You can also add images and modify or create new MindPT Sessions.
What To Do Once You’ve Created Your Video
Your MindPT Personal Power Session is a visualization tool. Using it every day and making it part of your life is essential to retrain your subconscious mind to focus on what you want in life; doing this will activate your brain's "seeking" abilities, to find the resources and means to bring your dreams to life.

We strongly recommend creating your MindPT Personal Power Session to reflect all that you want in your life. The more comprehensive your video is the better. You can however, create smaller videos that focus on specific objectives. Here’s a working example of how that might be integrated into your day:
Ann wants to travel to Africa. It’s her dream. In addition to creating a personal MindPT Session that encompasses all that she wants for her life, she’s also created a specific Session that focuses on traveling to Africa. Ann watches her full video every morning while she drinks her tea. Her comprehensive video is 30 minutes long. Ann shortens it or lengthens it depending on how much time she has in the morning. She watches her Africa Session, which is less than a minute long, each night before she goes to bed. Even if her day is busier than she'd like, she knows she will have time to watch at least the Africa Session, and because she is actively building and strengthening the neural connections associated with this dream, she will have results very quickly!
3 Quick Bonus Tips!
1. Create a personal video with the name: Abundance... Select just that one tag... And watch it through once - on speed 5 or slower.
2. In addition to the MindPT Session you create to reflect all that you want to embrace and create in your life, create a quick "Happiness" Session for your library.
Name it "Happiness" and choose the sub-category "Happiness" under the main category "Positive Emotions." Save it and use it as a quick pick me up whenever you need to laugh, smile or feel a little better. We all love to see images of very happy, smiling and laughing people. You’ll instantly feel better because emotions are contagious. Think about when someone smiles at you, you instantly feel a little better, right? Your “Happiness” Session provides the same benefit. This is a very handy 'vision' to have in your library.
You can have as many different Personal Power Sessions as you like. We suggest creating a Targeted Session for any persistent "big" issues you have going on - for example, financial troubles or relationship issues - this way, no matter how busy your schedule, you can squeeze in a few minutes every day for this targeted Session, to experience fast and meaningful results!

Can I download the MindPT Session to my own computer?

Please Note: It is extremely important to watch all the way through your Personal Power Sessions or Expert Sessions at least once per month while you are connected to the internet to ensure that you are watching the most up-to-date version. Images and statements are constantly being curated and upgraded!

Can two family members share the same account?
Yes – two family members can share the same account. However, you will have to create a “text slide” with both names of each individual in order for the MindPT Session to play with both names.
Can I upload my own music?
We are working on creating music options for the optimal viewing experience. For the time being, if you don't want to listen to the embedded music, you can just put your mp3 player headphones in your ears and mute the audio on your computer.
How do I choose photos and affirmations to create my MindPT Session?
The MindPT image library contains many thousands of images that are categorized and "attached" to each category you choose to include in your MindPT Session. Likewise, power statements (affirmations) are carefully chosen for each category. Expert Sessions are targeted sessions that you can also customize with your own images and affirmations. You can create as many MindPT Sessions as you like, for targeted goals - or create one grand Session that encompasses everything you want out of life.
Remember, you can customize any MindPT Session by adding as many of your own images and affirmations as you like.
Can I delete Sessions after I create them?
Yes, you can absolutely delete any Session after you create it. Simply use the "Delete" button next to the name of the Session you want to delete.
What will achieve faster results - high speed or slow speed?
There are two approaches:
Slow: a slower presentation speed creates a more relaxed "spa-like" emotional atmosphere - much like watching an adventure slide show created by a loved one. This approach lets you emotionally engage with the images and imagine yourself in the scene. This is the approach to take if you want to de-stress, relax and have some inspiring downtime.
Fast: a faster presentation bypasses the critical "you can't have this" filters of self-limiting beliefs so that the positive ideas introduced by the Session are absorbed directly into the other-than-conscious mind. Your mind doesn't have time to argue or put up resistance so this is the approach to take if you want to create massive personal change in automatic self-talk, attitudes and perceptions.
How do I enter more than one name in my MindPT Session slides? The setup only lets me enter one name!
To create a nickname for yourself, or to use multiple versions of your name, simply create 'affirmation' slides with the nickname of your choice.
